إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ ,نَحْمَدُهُ ,وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ , وَنَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا ,مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ , وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ , وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَباَرِكْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلىَ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ تَسْلِيْماً كَثِيْراً
My brothers and sisters,
Humans in general are inclined towards seeking worldly desires. The ones that stay away for the deen of ALLAH. It is said in the Quran:
أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ ٱلَّذِينَ طَبَعَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِہِمۡ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ
Such are men whose hearts Allâh has sealed, and they follow their evil desires. Surah Muhammad
In another place in the same surah, ALLAH SWT says about the ones who do not understand the Quran:
…..على قلوب اقفالها their hearts locked up
RESULT is obvious; They bar themselves from the rahmah of ALLAH SWT:
أُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمۡ وَأَعۡمَىٰٓ أَبۡصَـٰرَهُمۡ
Such are they whom Allâh has cursed, so that He has made them deaf and blinded their sight.
ALLAH SWT even ask our Rasool SWT:
وَلَٮِٕنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتَ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بَعۡدَمَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ۬ وَلَا وَاقٍ۬
Were you (O Muhammad SAW) to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which has come to you, then you will not have any Walî (protector) or Waq (defender) against ALLÂH.
ALLAH SWT is telling us the dangers of prioritizing the life of this world.
فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ (٣٧) وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا (٣٨) فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِىَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ
Then, for him who transgressed all bounds (in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allâh). (37) And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), (38) Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire;
And in the next Ayah: ALLAH SWT is telling us the rewards of staying away for the worldly desires
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ (٤٠) فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ
But as for him who feared standing before his Lord (in yaum al qiyamah), and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. (40) Verily, Paradise will be his abode.
فإن الجنة هى الماوى
WHAT A GRATITUDE, RESPECT AND ADMIRATION TO THEM BY ALLAH SWT in the everlasting Jannah.
بارك الله لي ولكم في القرآن العظيم ، ونفعني وإياكم بما فيه من الآيات والذكر الحكيم
أَقُولُ مَا تَسْمَعُونَ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ لِي وَلَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
