إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ ,نَحْمَدُهُ ,وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ , وَنَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا ,مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ , وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ , وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
My brothers and sisters:
One of the most effective tactic of shaitan is to utilize the psychology of sin against us. We all commit sins, it is in our nature to commit sin, mankind is by nature is sinful. Everyone amongst us fall short in meeting our obligations. ALLAH didn’t create us perfect, all of us make mistakes, we say things we shouldn’t say, see things we shouldn’t see. What Shaitan does, it uses these sins to create a barrier between us and ALLAH SWT. He whispers (waswasa) telling , hey, that’s it. You’re a sinner. There is no returning back for you, so just enjoy this life. If we accept this offer, that’s the time when Shaitan wins and we lose.
Dear brothers, realize that this is ALLAH’s creation, Insaan, Malaik, and Shaitan are created by ALLAH. And we are by nature not perfect. Realize that ALLAH doesn’t love sin, he loves the sinner. He is RAHMAN, and RAHEEM, and GHAFFAAR.
Hadees in sahih Muslim: were it not for the fact that you commit sins, ALLAH would have taken you away, and replaced you with a new creation, and they would commit sins and ask for HIS Rahmah and Maghfirat. Because ALLAH SWT loves the repentant (tauwaboon).
The Most Merciful SWT has opened the gate of repentance for us so that we can turn to Him every time we sin. He Subhaanahu wa Ta’ala says:
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
“Say: O ‘Ibaadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allaah, verily, Allaah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful”
The angels, sun, the moon, animals, don’t make sins and don’t repent. We humans make sins, and as Muslims, ALLAH has given this beautiful door of repentance. We are surrounding by ALLAH’s mercy. إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٲبِينَ
May Allah the Most Merciful, bless us with his mercy in this duniya, and most importantly in akhirah, grant us his favors and Rahmah.
