إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلَّهِ ,نَحْمَدُهُ ,وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ , وَنَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ
سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا ,مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ , وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ , وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
My brothers and sisters,
There is a Hadees e Qudsi which says: Oh son of Adam, devote yourself to my worship, I will fill your
heart with richness and I will fill your hands with sustenance. Oh son of Adam, do not distance yourself
from me, otherwise I will fill your heart of poverty, and will fill your hands with work and being busy.
This Hadees start with “devote yourself with my worship”. This doesn’t means give your 24 hours to
worshiping, that’s not humanly possible, nor its recommended. What it means is that we must do all our
actions as a form of worship towards ALLAH SWT.
Our daily life and work should go around salah, not our salah going around work and depending upon
workload. Devote yourself to me, your muamalat with others are a form of worship, the way you treat
your family is a way of worship, the way you treat your work colleagues is a way of worship, your being
honest at work is a way of worship. That’s what ALLAH is expecting us , is to devote you 24×7 towards
true actions and they’ll become an act of worship.
We are created to worship and devote ourselves to ALLAH SWT. وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ
وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ
قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحۡيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ
ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Verily, my Salât (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my
dying are for Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)
My brothers, the hadees says, I will fill your hands with sustenance and Rizq. Our wellbeing, our health,
good family relations, healthy atmosphere are all signs of great blessings and vast rizq ALLAH SWT has
given us.
We ask ALLAH SWT to keep us devoted to HIM and HIM only, in our daily matters, grant us with rizq e
halal, and our focus be towards the life of Akhirah which is a better and everlasting.
وَٱلۡأَخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ۬ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
بارك الله لي ولكم في القرآن العظيم ، ونفعني وإياكم بما فيه من الآيات والذكر الحكيم
أَقُولُ مَا تَسْمَعُونَ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ لِي وَلَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُ
الرَّحِيمُ
